WHAT BRINGS WOMEN IN
Pain is only part of the picture.
We look at the injury, your training, and the factors that may change how you recover from week to week.
01
Runner's knee
Patellofemoral pain and training-related knee irritation.
02
Ankle & Achilles
Ankle sprains and Achilles tendinopathy that interfere with training.
03
Hip & glute pain
Hip pain and gluteal tendinopathy affecting movement and load.
04
Back & SI pain
Low back pain, SI joint pain, and sciatica.
05
Shoulder pain
Rotator cuff and shoulder pain that can limit strength work.
06
Plantar & hamstring
Plantar fasciitis and hamstring strains that keep recurring.
BEYOND THE INJURY
Your training plan changes. Your care should, too.
Some patients also notice symptoms that track with their cycle or life stage, including period symptoms, changes in sleep and recovery, or joint pain around perimenopause and menopause.
THE HOPE METHOD
Three inputs.
One treatment plan.
At every visit, the plan considers where you are in your cycle or life stage, where you are in your training block, and what the injured tissue is doing today.
First visit: 60–80 minutes
Your first appointment includes the assessment and treatment. Follow-ups are shorter.
1. Assess
History, cycle, and training review, plus an orthopedic assessment.
2. Treat
Needles first, with cupping or gua sha when appropriate. Herbs when they add something needles cannot.
3. Plan the next few days
Your treatment intensity and recommended loading are adjusted to what your body is doing now.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
Questions, answered.
-
You may feel a brief pinch in some spots. Once the needles are in, the treatment is generally quiet and relaxing.
-
It uses the same type of needle, but the visit is broader. The approach considers local tissue as well as the pattern contributing to the problem.
-
No. If you already track it, bring the information. Irregular cycles, hormonal birth control, perimenopause, and past menopause can all be part of the clinical picture.
-
Train before your visit and plan to wind down afterward. Recovery is part of your training.
-
It depends on the injury and how long you have had it. You leave the first visit with a plan and an estimate.
